At Kelowna Veterinary Hospital, we've always believed that caring for animals goes beyond the walls of a clinic.
KVH Farms was created from a vision for the future — one that combines veterinary medicine, agriculture, education, animal welfare, and responsible stewardship of the land.
Located on our Munson Road property, KVH Farms represents our commitment to preserving and working with agricultural land while exploring the possibility of developing a future mixed animal veterinary facility for the Central Okanagan.
As our region continues to grow, so does the need for veterinary services. While Kelowna is fortunate to have excellent veterinary care for companion animals, there is currently no dedicated large animal or equine veterinary facility within the city. We believe there is an opportunity to help fill that gap while remaining respectful stewards of the agricultural land entrusted to us.
Caring for the Land While Planning for the Future
Our vision has always been bigger than simply building a veterinary hospital.
We envision a property that supports agriculture, animal welfare, education, and community connection. A place where horses, livestock, farm animals, and companion animals can receive exceptional care, while the land itself remains productive and valued.
Whether that means raising laying hens, creating educational opportunities for children and families, supporting local agriculture, or one day welcoming large animal patients, every step we take today is helping shape that future.

One of the first chapters of the KVH Farms story has been our flock of happy laying hens.

Our hens are raised with care, plenty of space, and a focus on animal welfare. The eggs have quickly become a favourite among our clients and community members, and we're proud to share a little piece of the farm with everyone who visits us.
